When a global pandemic wipes across the globe, tragedy strikes for engaged couple, Bryan and Emma. After Emma falls ill, Bryan is torn after her passing, causing him to attempt to end his own life when he believes he can’t live without her. Shortly after he is saved, the virus is so widespread that the government has resorted to bombing infected cities making the air highly toxic to stop the spread of the virus.

 

In this moment of do or die, Bryan gains the strength to fight for Emma, realizing he can’t give up. Now, four years later, in the midst of the apocalypse, Bryan finds himself kidnapping two girls, 19-year-old Annelise and 13-year-old Lillian, who are escaping a trade gone wrong at the hands of their mother and father. With every day that passes, and their parents hunt for them, will Bryan be able to keep these two safes or will things take an unexpected turn when feelings begin to form between Annelise and Bryan, and Bryan begins to believe Annelise is Emma?
